Jogging track: Along the Außenalster lake

The Hotel City House is situated in the centre of the city approx. 700 m from the Außenalster lake. Once you get to the Alster, follow the beautiful shores of the Außenalster along sandy paths.

Jogging route

Along the Außenalster lake:

• On leaving the hotel, turn right  until you reach the pedestrian lights.
  
• Cross Steindamm and pass the greengrocer's on your right. Now follow Stralsunder Straße up to Hansaplatz with the large fountain.
  
• Cross the square diagonally and pass the red brick house on your right until you get to Baumeisterstraße.
  
• At the next traffic light, cross Lange Reihe and continue between the Indian shop and the car park.
  
• Head for the church, keep it to your right and continue slightly downhill along St. Georgs Kirchhof.
  
• Take the next turn to your left (Rautenbergstraße) and then turn right into Holzdamm.
  
• The path leads past Hotel Atlantic, then cross the road to the Alster at the trafic light.
• You can now choose to turn left or right around the alster. You can pick your own turning points and thus determine the distance of this route yourself.
